Receive alerts from OpenSnow when severe weather is likely or occurring at your current location.

Alert Categories

  • Nearby Lightning

  • Nearby Precipitation

These alerts come directly from Super-Res Radar + StormNet, our new severe weather forecast system.

Currently only available in the OpenSnow iOS app. Android will be available in the future.

Getting Started

  1. Open the iOS app.
  2. Tap the "My Location" tab.
  3. Turn "Alerts On" in the upper right.
  4. Set your OpenSnow device location to "Always".
  5. Set your OpenSnow push notifications to "Allow".
